Does Any NCAA D-1 Football Team Have A Shot At Going Undefeated This Season?

Is there any D-1 team in any conference that has a shot at going unbeaten? This would make the already screwed up BCS more screwed up if some non-powerhouse program went unbeaten! Thanks!

The USC/OSU* winner.  West Virginia, Oklahoma, Fresno St., and BYU have a good shot.  I dont think anyone from the SEC will be undefeated.

there are a couple of teams that have a shot, but the only two that i see actually completing the trick are usc and byu...usc obviously will have to beat ohio state, but the pac-10 is much weaker this year and they should be able to pretty much coast through it if they show up to play every week...byu gets all of their most difficult games at home, their schedule sets up perfectly for a run to a bcs bowl...west virginia also has a very good shot but they always seem to find a way to lose a game they shouldn't

They just have to get passed South Flordia and everything should be easy sailing.

They should have been in the Championship last year if pat white didnt get hurt.

But pat white and noel divine should be a sick and pat white and steve slaton at the sugar bowl.

I'd have to say Ohio State or USC.

There are no other teams who have a shot. Poor Georgia - their schedule is BRUTAL. They are talented, but their opponents are too.

As for the chap who thinks the OSU/USC game is a lock because they're in California, I guarantee it'll be closer than you think.

oklahoma is ranked up pretty high for this season and i saw on rivals how they were sayin their schedule was too easy so maybe they will do it and if they don't i think georgia has a chance

i think some of you are forgetting that west virginia has to play auburn. i will be very surprised if they can pull that one out

Most likely USC. You can't say Ohio State, because their is no way they can beat USC at the Coliseum. The SEC is a total meat grinder, so it will be tough for LSU to do it. I say USC.

i think lots of teams have a shot.  I think georgia has a shot if they can beat florida.  And if florida beats georgia then i think they have a shot at going undefeated.  West Virginia has a shot, and so does Ohio st.  Oh yeah and you can never count out USC.  It'll be interesting to see if all or any of these teams loose and who they will loose too.  cant wait!
