Does Anybody Know Anything About Browsing History?

You know when you go to tools, then internet options, you can clear your browsing history and cookies, well does anybody know if that really clears it or is it still saved somewhere else?

  1. Click Tools then scroll to Browser Options. Scroll to history then click CLEAR URL'S the OK.  A tech told me that gets rid of it for good.


  2. yes this clears a lot of the cookies you have on your computer as well as the temporary files.  these files are put on your RAM so that they can be accessed easily.  another good way is to click start, all programs, accessories, system tool or maintenence and then disk clean and delete the temporary files.  also run a spywar scan to delete and files placed in other spots.

  3. Yes they are saved elsewhere on many files on your hard drive.

    Theres no point wiping it though

    A copy of it is also kept by your ISP

    For a semi-wipe of your pc do the above then restore your pc to an earlier time using backup-restore tools in accessories

  4. well...of course it's saved. but it's going to take a lot of dedication and patience to try and find where it's saved...
