Does Anybody Use Progressive For Home Owners Insurance?

If you do, how would your rate them? How would you compare them to other companies that you have used. I currently use them for car insurance and need to get home owners insurance as well.

Progressive has a pretty good reputation; I haven't used them, but I know several independent insurance agents who recommend them.  

You can always see how they are rated as a company by going to AM Best or Standard & Poors sites - it's a free service there.  

One nice thing about combining your auto and home insurance with one company is you get a combined policy discount.  

Since there are so many different factors that affect your insurance rates, I'd use a service like insureme.com to get some other free rate quotes; I know they have an option to get combined home and auto quotes.  You may even find out that someone else will offer you better rates than Progressive.  Never hurts to find out!
