Does Anyone Else Use Timeshares To Go On Free Vacations?

I wouldn't really call myself cheap, just thrifty ;)

My boyfriend and I take mini-vacations about 4 times a year simply by agreeing to see timeshares in the area. He's on a bunch of lists right now so it's easy for us to get contacted.

It's really quite awesome.... You generally get a free 3-4 night stay hotel stay just for watching a 1hr video about a vacation property and then sitting down to talk with a 'timeshare' spokesperson who tries to get you hyped up about it. We always are polite and thank them, and tell them that it's not exactly what we were looking for. Then they call us a few times and that's that.

Anyone else do this? Let's start a discussion about some of the good ones to go to and good tips to know when attending.
