Does Anyone Get Prank Calls Of A Witheld Number Or Unknown Number???

it always happens to me and its beginingto annoy me.

must just be stupid people who have nothing better to do!

i got one one time some girl threatening to kick my *** when we went back to school.never happend......they just have nothing better to do. or its one of ur close friends playing a joke

but its pretty lame so ignore it. every time i get one of those i do something back becus it only makes thm act like they messed up on it && gets them right back

I know... it's really annoying.... I suggest you to leave the phone in busy tone for a while or keep hanging up. They will eventually get tired and their phone bill will rise!! Sweet revenge... Keep thinking that they are the ones that will have to pay, and you will feel better hehe....

Do what I do. I never answer a "privet caller" or a number I dont know. I see if they leave a message and if so, work from there

Yeah, plenty of times. Does it come up as 'Restricted' ever? Could be sales calls or friends just being annoying.  I think its *67 and the number and your id will come up as restricted.

When that happens... talk back to them sound like you are interested in them no matter what s*x they are.

On the home phone stupid stuff was calling so I stopped picking it up.

On the cell phone not much of that but my friends do pranks ones in a while... I don't mind kuz it's friends.

The best way to get rid of it is to play along. Like laugh with them when they make fun of you and stuff.

I have had this problem in the past, but i called my service provider and now have call barring on my land line so that no one can call me if they with hold their number, it cost around £1.50 per month and it well worth it. Im with BT but Virgin also provide this service. This also stops those pesky sales calls as well.

you can always call your phone service provider to see who it was. That would be very embarassing to your caller when you call back! Believe me, the phone service provider CAN and WILL trace the call.

Well av had a couple but it don't really bother me, but my sis has had one just a few weeks bak, it was this really dirty middle aged guy who must of been a pedo or suttin he kept phoning me sis bak regurly an talking ye to her. one of the times my sis gave the phone to me as he was speaking, i listened an tht really ticked me off, i spoke to him and (quite aggressively) tried to find out where this guy waz from, it turns he just gt really scared and hasn't phoned since.

wat i think u should do iz when he or she phones, dont just let them speak, be aggressive bak an they shouldbak off they are invading your personal space. anyway gd luk

I don't answer calls if the number shows up withheld or unknown.  I let it go straight to voice mail.  I figure, if it's someone who wants to talk to me, let them leave a message.

My advice would be if you are getting persistent phone calls from these pranksters, get your number changed and be careful who you give it out to.  If you find out who is making the calls, you can report them to the police.  However, if at any point the calls or threatening in nature, you can contact the police anyway and they may be able to trace where the call is coming from.
