Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions As To Why I Am ALWAYS Tired ?

No matter how much I sleep I'm always tired. I know that sleeping too much can make you more tired, but I don't usually sleep for more than 9 hours, 7 average. I sometimes wake up alot during the night and find it hard to get back to sleep, this is because of the dreams I have. Is it just the way I am ? Or is there something wrong with me ? O.O Help me out please.

  1. could be a lot of reasons, but you may want to ask your doctor to check your thyroid gland.  do you feel out of it a lot?  that could also be a sign.

Are your pregnant?  Some pregnant women get insomnia (I do) and you're just always tired because you're up half the night.

  2. I hear ya loud and clear! I do the same thing! mostly its a dream that wakes me up! Sometimes I go to sleep but at the same time, my mind wont shut up! lol!

If you figure it out let me know! I'd do the same!

  3. It could be CFS/ME.  I have just been diagnosed with it.  I was sleeping extremely long hours, waking up feeling tired, napping in the afternoon.  I also had muscle pain and weakness.  I have been feeling this way for 8 months now.  You should go to your docs if it continues

  4. It could be a lot of things.   Have a doctor check your thyroid, you could be depressed, maybe even slight insomnia is a reason.   I think you need to visit your doctor.    I know mono causes exhaustion as well.

Can anyone help with my question?

  5. Talk to your doctor. There are several reasons why a person feels tired or suffers from insomnia. Your tiredness could be brought on by anxiety, depression, vitamin deficiency or some other yet undiagnosed condition. Again I must stress again, go see a doctor, as your symptoms sound chronic. I  DO NOT advise seeking medical advice on the internet. Opinions yes, advice no

  6. A lot of 15 year olds don't eat properly.  Perhaps you need to improve your diet.  More fruit and vegetables for more antioxidants and enzymes for good health and energy.

Dehydration is a common cause of fatigue.  Most people don't drink enough water.

  7. There are lots of things it could be.  I went through a period like you are describing a while ago.

Are you going through anything really stressful right now?  Stress can cause you to wake up in the night, especially if you have a lot going on in your mind on any given night.

Experiment.  Try going to bed an hour earlier, stuff like that.  From what it sounds like I doubt something is wrong with you, but you could check in with your doctor just in case.  They could reassure you about what's going on and also may have some suggestions for how to improve your sleep.

    Good luck!
