A $273,000 expenditure for staff for the McCain's many homes should be a revelation that is just another nail in the coffin of the idea that John McCain has any connection whatsoever to the middle class in America.

The Obama's have one home.  If they had a cook and a nanny (which I have no idea as to whether they do or not) they couldn't possibly come even close to the McCains in status as members of the elite.

How on earth is hiring a cleaning lady considered elitist?  I know alot of people who are middle class and hire maids to come in once a week to clean for them.  They both work and have kids and have no time to do the deep cleaning themselves. Simple things aren't so simple when you both work.   I rent my place I've considered doing it too.  Who the heck likes cleaning anyway?  Blech!

And, considering how frugal Obama has been on his campaign, I bet he doesn't have a house staff.  At least not like the one McSame has at over 275,000 a year.

Maybe you should ask your candidate that question (if he can remember, that is)?  I assure you McCain spent A LOT more since he owns 7 times as many Houses!
