  1. You could look at Jean-Michel Basquiat who used elements of graffiti on canvas, or Keith Haring who started out as a graffiti artist. Both took their graffiti to a "high-art" status and showed/still show in many galleries. There is also a guy called "crash" - i think his real name is John Matos... ther are some links below :-)
