Does Anyone Know This one ? (aluminium cans)?

Hello, after my Brothers birthday party I've ended up with 27 bin liners full of tightly crushed aluminium beer cans in my back garden, does anyone know if scrap metal yards pay for scrap cans? and also do you know how much per can or weight they pay ? I live in Leighton Buzzard (about 20 miles north of London) Many thanks in advance, as I really want my garden back

Crushed aluminium cans fetch about £850 per tonne (in quantity).  You've probably got about a tenner's worth.

I do know they definitely pay but don't know how much per Kg because I think it's sold per kg. you can call a scrap metal dealer for prices. In saying that check if the payment is worth the trip to the dealer but I do know aluminium is quite pricey

Hi there are companies that just buy old cans however these will only pay around 50p - £1.00 for a full bin bag

yes they will pay but not very much as they pay by weight
