  1. Trading for a living isn't really that hard.  In fact anyone who puts their mind to it can do very well. You don't even have to be that smart, heck I can do it.

  2. I basically live off of my investments if that is what you mean.

I "trade" some. But since I don't short stocks or buy puts, I have been sitting out most of the past year plus since I thought it over priced over a year ago and was out of the market as it has headed down.

I have saved myself a 20% loss and have made 5% in interest but that is not doing "pretty good". But I was prepared for riding out such downturns and I fully expect to make a LOT of money on the upside when we recover since I didn't lose it on the way down.

"Pretty good" is a relative term.

  3. not me.

  4. I trade for a living--foreign currency, not stocks.

Trading for a living is not for every one though. First, it takes a long time to learn how to trade, and be profitable to live off the profits. If you are looking to trade, stay at your job and trade on your free time.

  5. I just got into trading stocks this year. I found a site that sends me stock picks every week. I am also getting my MBA in Finance so I'm having a great time!

You have to be really smart though, do your research after you get the stock picks.

    The source is below.

  6. I do not exactly trade stocks for a living.  I invest for a living.  I am not doing too well this year.

  7. I trade stocks for a living. I was an investment adviser for 7 years. Check out my source for a great future resource for new investors. I've successfully taught several people to make a lot of money trading. If you do check out my resource, tell me your most burning question and I'll try to help.

I make more some weeks that I used to make in a year...and I have a very high paying job.
