Does Anyone have know how the "Rise Program" for missed school works?

I know there is a program called Rise (or somethign like that) that a student can do if they are going to miss more then a week of school. I'm thinking of taking my 9th grade son and kindergarten son out for a week to visit their grandparents in Maui. Anyone have any expertise on this topic?

   That sounds  like a program that's just at your school or possibly your school system. You would need to ask the front office at your child's school.
