No, not even AP calculus requires prior knowledge of calculus.

The only AP class that does is Physics C

No, you can take AP statistics even without any type of algebra, geometry, anything.  It teaches you everything you need to know in that class.  Good luck.  I loved AP Stats.

No, not at all.  I took Stats this year and will take AP Stats next year.  Really, in stats, there are only a few formulas, most of the class is interpretation of data and figuring stuff out

Nope, not in the least. I took the AP Stats class last year concurrently with Trigonometry, and will be taking AP Calculus next year. So no, you do not need to know any calculus for the class.
