  1. technically Mountain Standard Time, but because AZ is the only state in MST not to observe daylight savings time, AZ has the same time as Pacific Standard Time (CA) for the winter.

    If you look at the setup for Windows calendar or other things such as VCRs they often have a specific Arizoa setting.

  2. Arizona observes Mountain Standard Time.  It does not observe Daylight Savings, which means during Standard Time it's the same time in AZ as in the rest of the Mountain time zone; and during Daylight Time it's in the same time as Western (Western Daylight Time, to be exact).

    There's an exception to this:  The Navajo reservation, which takes up most of the northeast quadrant of the state, DOES observe daylight savings; so it is always in Mountain Time whether standard or daylight.  Then to add to the fun, the Hopi reservation which is completely surrounded by the Navajo reservation DOES NOT observe daylight savings, so it's always on Mountain *Standard*.

    Confused? :)

  3. Mountain Time Zone

  4. Mountain Standard Time.

    That's it, it does NOT change (they do NOT observe daylight savings).

    MST = PDT.

    (when California does daylight savings- which now is for most of the year, their times are the same).

    MST is one hour behind CST and 2 hours behind CDT.

    good luck

  5. it belongs to the mountain half and the central the other, they don't do daylight savings there

  6. Neither.  Arizona is in the Mountain Time Zone - 1 hour ahead of Pacific Time, 1 hour behind Central Time and 2 hours behind Eastern Standard Time.
