They are adding Adam Dunn to a lineup that has Mark Reynolds and Chris Young starting everyday.

  1. With the addition of Adam Dunn. Yes. I now sort of believe this season for the D'backs is Dunn.

  2. Probably.  Dunn draws almost as many walks (80) as he does hits (87), so he still has an OBP of .373;  A LAD fan would post this though..

  3. The addition of Adam Dunn definitely does make them.

  4. I think Dunn is the big bat they need to pull away from the Dodgers!!

Dodgers need  to do something about there bullpen if they want to stay in the race.

  5. Coming from a dodgers fan? I'm shocked you would feel that way! They needed the power!

  6. Definatley! but i guess you can live with a high SO numbers as long as you can produce with RISP which the dbacks can do.

  7. Put Dunn and his 120 strikeouts in the Arizona lineup at the start of the season and they're probably neck and neck with Florida now, but his 80 walks would also make Arizona the MLB leader in that category. And his 32 HR would easily put them in the Top 10 for team homeruns.

But to answer your question, Florida has 6 players with 75 or more strikouts and 8 players with more than 50. Arizona now has 5 players with 75+ strikeouts and 7 with more than 50. I believe that Arizona and Florida are very close when it comes to strikeout-prone lineups but Arizona appears to be more susceptible because they have 3 of the Top 6 easiest batters to whiff in their lineup with Reynolds, Young, and Dunn.

  8. Mark Reynolds is like a younger version of Dunn someone with power but strikes out every other at bat. Also Chris Young and Justin Upton strike out a lot so i would say they do have the most strikeout prone lineup in the mlb.

  9. yes they do

  10. The Cubs and Giants strikeout a lot too, but this trade mite put Arizona over the top.  The top representing the NL West and the team strikeout leaderboard.

  11. Yea and Justin Upton also strikes out alot too.

  12. Well balance of power has been restored in the AL West. Just when I thought the Men in Blue would begin to run away with this, the DBacks add a big power bat. Sure he isn't Manny but he does have a better power bat. Makes the West much more interesting now.

As for your question, yea no question. Even worse with Upton playing too.
