Does Automatic Writing have the same effect as the Ouija Board?

well i am curious to find out if it works or not..i looked in the internet but they couldn't give me much of information..

Both automatic writing and Ouija operate by lowering your will enough to allow something else to take control of your brain's motor functions. I consider both of them to be dangerous activities as a result, because direct access to the human mind has been shown in history to be abused.

Not to mention, much of what I believe about these comes from personal experience. Would you really want a complete stranger to have access to control your movements?
