  1. Does BO stand for body odor?

  2. It proves that Obama is all talk and no action.

McCain didn't give any "statements" to the press. He flew to Mississippi's emergency management center to find out what kind of help will be needed by local authorities.

  3. why should leaders get a charter flight out when the rest of us have to get out the best way we can?? what is so special about them.

  4. Here's what Obama meant. President Bush said it best when he reminded us that if the President, or any of the Candidates, were to show up in a disaster area before things calm down again, they would divert security and other public resources away from the response and relief efforts. This would actually slow the response, and could create a media circus.

Obama says he has an Internet network of his supporters, who have shown commitment to his campaign and his values. He will mobilize that network by e-mail and web postings, to get his supporters to offer money and support of all kinds to the disaster areas. Then, when the areas are more secure, he and all the politicians will make their visits, trying to offer support and encouragement.

What Katrina showed us is, the presence of a national political figure in a disaster area does no good whatsoever. What does work, is those who are just low-level service workers and volunteers, mobilizing before and during the disaster, who can deliver the needed relief rather than just getting in the way.

Obama cares, and so does Bush -- they just want to show up at a time when they can make a real difference. That time has not yet come.

  5. Funny how McCain will take advantage of the situation and do some Grandstanding But when we had a GOP led congress the GOP, Bush, and McCain sat there and did nadda

I think you conservatives were all whining that people shouldve known better than to live there

  6. Hmmm...I can see Obama as a general sitting well behind the lines so as not to tire a horse taking him all the way to the front lines. Unlike George Washington who rode at the front of the battle.

And leave it t the atheist dems to invoke divine providence when it suits their needs.

  7. Wrong.  Obama said he would work with agencies and government reps on the ground to find out the best way his campaign can be helpful without being disruptive to the emergency efforts.

    Excerpt:

[Obama said he first would ask officials in the affected areas what is most needed, which may not be known for a few days.

"We don't want to solicit a bunch of canned goods that can't get there, or, you know, bottles of water where they already have water," he said.

Obama said he might visit storm-damaged areas once "things have settled down."

"The thing that I am always concerned about in the middle of a storm is whether we are drawing resources away from folks on the ground," he said, referring to the security demands his traveling entourage makes on local police and other officials.

Obama said he saw no problem with Republican rival John McCain's trip Sunday to Mississippi ahead of the storm's landfall. "I'm assuming that where he went, that wasn't an issue," Obama said.]

  8. All that and obama thinking there are 57 states. And they say Sarah does not have enough experience. He better go count the stars on a flag. wait he does not have or wear one. Well he is cooked then. LOL

  9. i'm sure he cares about people in need, but I have no plans voting for him. none at all.

    Mccain/Palin 2008

  10. Buh?  I can't make any sense out of your question.  How about a link or something?

  11. First of all there is absolutely nothing a candidate from either side

can do. This is a mission for first responders. If the candidates want

to help do some fund raising to help offset the cost of these people

living in 5 different states till they get the all clear. No One dislikes

Obama more than I. But I cant hang this on him. He like McCain

need to stay the h**l out of the way. And let those who are trained

and prepared for this do there job.

  12. Link please otherwise you're gossip mongering

  13. Well at least he isn't eatting cake like your candidate was...lol

  14. So Barack thinks Text messaging secret information to and from his constituents is proper procedure from a President? Is this man that F stupid that he doesn't know that private cell phone information/conversations are picked up by enemies, and even just regular people by radio waves?

No, this man, Obama has no interest in the safety of Americans, nor does he have the brains necessary to lead a horse to water. Brain-dead, more like.

Is this man out to kill us, literally?
