Does Baton Rouge have power ?

Question

Ever since Gustav went thru Lousianna, I lost contact with a friend in Baton Rouge. Does anybody know if Baton Rouge has electricity ? Thank you.

Some of BR has power but much of the area is still out.  The utility companies are working as fast as they can to restore power, but some of the BR area will reportedly have to wait for weeks before it is back on for them.

Nope, I go to school there and about 60% of the city still doesn't have power so Im at home in Lafayette till monday.
