Does Bella turn into a werewolf in Eclipse?

It will make me feel better because one of my friends told me that in the end she does and chases Jacob.But I am not sure.So please answer me because I can't read this book knowing she will be a werewolf at the end.

  5. Yes she turns into a mutant werewolf/vampire! Here's what happened: Jacob bit Bella just to see if she would turn into a werewolf - and she did! During the transformation Edward came and bit her - so she started to turn into a vampire. So she kinda got half and half. She got immortality, speed, no bloodlust - just desire for lots of food, and a beard. She now works at the carnival as the bearded lady.
