If he completes another stint in rehab and returns to WA drug free- Do you think the public will be willing to take him seriously? Does he deserve to be given another chance?

  1. no way he is a bad influence to the younger guys coming up the ladder he has done enough damage. I hate the way he smerks when hes been asked a hard question hes laughing at everyone.

  2. give the guy a year to prove himself and he may deserve another shot at playing footy but not with westcoast, although he never tested positive to a test before.i would love to see him playing again for westcoast but it won't ever happen

  3. I would love to have him at the Crows, at least his problem is out in the open.

    How many are hiding?

  4. No way, He has had enough chances already.

  5. Noooo! He's a bad bad boy.

  6. You got to be joking. Ben does not never deserve another 3rd chance at all. I think he a loser and we in Perth are getting sick of his cr*p.

  7. Of course, football is very forgiving. Remember John Hopoate? Man, how many chances did he get. The only people who wouldn't give Cousins another chance are holier than thou.

  8. I say his had to many chanes if this was anyone else the whole thing would be different.

  9. h**l No

  10. What do you mean THIRD chance?  Hasn't he had chance after chance after chance since about 2002?  I know I've lost count as to exactly how many "second chances" he's been given already.

  11. i hope you are joking

i can hear the harps playing again

  12. Yes!!!!

That is the only way to encourage people going through what he is.

If we continue to be negative with people like Ben they will definitly go back to old ways.If people don't have faith in him,how will he believe in himself.

He needs positive feedback and thoughts.

I know it's fustrating, but we have to push our feelings aside and just give out positive advice.

I'm sure thats what we would do for our own family members if they were going through what Ben is.

  13. I don't know. I wouldn't take him seriously though

  14. I don't think so.

If they keep on dishing out chances it sets a bad example on all of those young kids that look upto him.

For instance, if a young player experimented with drugs and got caught, he'd be dealt with accordingly... but in his mind he'd be thinking that he'd get another chance like Ben Cousins.

We can't keep on making excemptions for people in the limelight because kids are getting the wrong idea about what happens in real life.

  15. He is now delisted by the Eagles, and to play AFL again he would have to be given AFL approval to register for the 2008 draft .  Given his history and by next Nov. he will be 30 , would you have confidence (if they considered it )in your Club's decision  to draft him .?

  16. no. he's had just about enough chances...

i reckon just let him get himself sorted.

then get on with his life.

  17. If he can get approved, Collingwood would probably take him. Even though his dad played for Geelong, hope he doesn't get any ideas he wants to play for the Cats.

  18. I don't think the WC will as they want to prove they aren't soft if you put football and drugs together. They want to be tough so will kick him out for good as he didn't cooperate with police even though I hope they will let him back because despite the drugs he is a good footballer.
