no Blu-Ray itself does not have a ticker symbol.

The Blu-Ray Disc Association is made up of many manufactures, with Sony taking the lead. So if you were to invest in Blu-Ray, Sony would be the one to invest in.

Blu-Ray does not have a ticker symbol.  Sony and Matsushita Electric (Japan based company that owns Panasonic) are the two big producers of Blu-Ray players.  Sony's stock has already gone up a bit, and Toshiba's has gone down now that they have announced they won't be making HD DVD players anymore.
