  1. Yes, but there is no striking involved.  When on your feet BJJ offers either takedowns or submisions (flying armbar, kamura, guillotine).


  2. very very little. almost nothing. the only hand combat you do on your feet is to get a takedown

  3. I don't know, other then take downs you never see them use anything standing in straight BJJ. At least I never have.
