Does Britney Spears's mother deserve a "Mother of the Year" award?

She has sold out her own daughter (Britney) by telling all in her new book, including how Britney lost her virginity at 14 and took drugs at 15. All this right before Britney is due to appear at this Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards.

I am no Britney fan but with parents like that, it's no surprise Britney is so messed up.

britney made mistakes, but her mother shouldn't ruin her already tattered career... and i heard she might not be performing.

ps im not a fan, but she is trying to clean up her image, so props to her... but she's not doing very well

it's sad. lindsay lohan's parents are just as bad.

What a horrible, mean thing to do to anyone, let alone your daughter. Mother's who dish out Emotional abuse like that should not be given any 'mother of the year' awards. They should be given councelling so they can learn how to stop being such a B@#ch
