Does Burger King really spray on its charcoal taste?

I've heard from three completely different friends that Burger King sprays on it's charcoal for their burgers. Can anyone verify this and hopefully give me some credible information and source?

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.

Thanks!

  2. No, they do not. Unfortunately I used to work there when I was 16...

  3. Burger King is unique in that it 'flame broils' its hamburgers.  The burgers ride on a sort of conveyor belt over real fire.  Some of the fat from the burgers drips into the flames and burns, giving the burgers the taste of burnt fat.  That's the taste, not charcoal.  Ever had a burger made on a propane grill?  There's no charcoal but the burgers still taste 'barbecued'.  The propane heats 'briquettes' made of ceramic.  The fat drips off the meat and burns, so you have 'barbecue' taste.

  4. Yeah. It's called King Coal® by Burger Flavor Brands, Inc. Comes in 16oz and 24oz spray cans.

I just made that up to mess with y'all. Hehe.

  5. You can buy Smoke in a bottle in the super market.

But I watch and I have not seen it.

  6. I think so because I have watched them put them in the microwave to heat them up.Don't eat there much any more.I don't trust food cooked and warmed back up when you order it.Dairy Queen does the same thing but you do see them cook it over an open flame.Especialy if they are real busy. You hate to ask them to cook one fresh. They reach over and get one out of a container and heat it up.Yuk and double yuk.Like eating left overs.I want fresh cooked food!It takes a little longer to get your order but hey it is worth it.FAST FOOD HAS GOTTEN TOO FAST!I do not see a flame any where in the whole kitchen of the home of the whopper.Flash frozen and microwaved. They don't cook them their selves. They get them already cooked and frozen. If I don't see the flame they lied to me.Don't want none. Can't trust a lier! But seriously they don't.Friend builds them they are flame broiled just not at the resturant where you buy them.
