Does Bush understand anything about economics?

Question

Again today he is trying to borrow another couple hundred billion from China to pay for his failed economic policy. Why can this ignorat little man not see that using credit to pay off debt is a LOSE-LOSE situation? Was he so spoiled as a child that he never learned how to regulate money? How can Bush Sr. have done such a horrible job of raising that child?

Technically he should.  Actually he definitely should know.  He has an MBA.  Yes, an MBA.  [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_W._B...  Yet he has poor fiscal policy.  I agree he should not be borrowing yet is forced to.

However the economy cannot be blamed completely on him.  He has made mistakes and yes some of the reason why the economy bad is because of decisions he made.  But there are big reasons too that are out of his control (at least partially).  High gas prices were caused by high demand from China and India.  Inflation was caused by the FED cutting interest.  Also, mortgage problems- though somewhat caused by Bush thanks to him reducing regulation on mortgage companies- were also caused by companies giving away a lot of mortgages and people not having ways to pay them.

Of course, some of the reason why we have oil prices so high is because we dpeend too much on it.  Bush has not worked towards solutions.  ANd his tax cuts have killed the country's budget.

Ehh...I think he's done a horrible job both fiscally and in economics. Bah.  As for Bush Sr. it doesn't have to do with him- it has to do with how Bush (Jr- President currently) has used wrong ideas- and Bush Sr. was a smart man and had brilliant ideas (though they led him to lose the Presidential 1992 election..it was a sacrifice that needed to be made hower).

No. China has so much of our money in bonds. I believe it is in the trillions. It's giving chinese people have too much control over OUR economy. So of course dubya wants to sell them more. IDIOT! what a complete failure that man is.

Bush is an idiot who could of learned to control foreign policies by the currency and not with a losing war!

I don't think Sr. really liked him all that much and he has been trying to prove himself his whole life. He just doing it with our money, freedom and blood now.
