  1. Well there are some differences obviously, but I as for actually number of rules, I can't see why there would be any difference in the actual number except for maybe the additional import - non-import rule.

  2. The No Fun League has way more rules.  CFL doesn't have miked helmets or guys running around videotaping signals.  And it doesn't have the strict motion rules for the offense.  Not to mention the no celebrating rules.

  3. The two leagues have the same amount of rules for every situation. For example the CFL and NFL both have rules regarding offense, defense, special teams, and other things like timeouts and replays. However these rules tend to differ from each other. For example on punts a rule in the NFL is that you can call fair catches, but in the CFL there is the no yards rule which basically says the the cover team has to be five yards off the ball.

and to the guy that said there were less than 60 000 people at the Grey cup maybe you should find out what the max capacity of the stadium is. It was sold out.

  4. The rules are different, yes.  Would anybody actually grab each rule book and count how many rules they each have?  Probably not.

  5. No, it doesn't but rules are different. If a player do a touchback (Nfl) in (Cfl) the other team earn 1 point and start to their 35 yrd line, 3 down, return on missed fiel goal  cause of the bigger endzone. I think it gives a good show. I'm Canadian. (québecois) I'd like to know if someone here can speak french? J'aimerais savoir si il y a quelqu'un ici qui parle en français?

  6. its not that there are more rules, just differant rules,  however there is one that comes to mind

    some differances

there are 12 players on the field each,

there are 3 downs instead of 4

but in the cfl, if you have a kickoff, punt, or missed fieldgoal go out of the endzone, you get a single,  1 point

  7. I bet that they do because with a bigger field with bigger endzones and only 3 downs there has to be some other rules or things that u can do in the CFL not the NFL other wise no one whould watch it. After all the Grey cup only had less then 60,00 people at it there are more ppl at some high school games then that. The CFL is for ppl that want to play football but are not that good and don't get drafted by the NFL. I think that the CFL is as boring as watching Curling in the Olympics.
