  1. No i do not think so. (some one correct me if im wrong)

    But the CRJ-700 Does have..........

    Collins Pro Line 4 six-tube EFIS/EICAS

Dual attitude heading reference systems (AHRS)

Traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS)

    Collins digital weather radar

  2. Not entirely.  It has cables connected to the control yoke that run out to the control surfaces.  These cables actuate hydraulic pistons called Power Control Units (PCUs) that translate mechanical cable pressure into hydraulic pressure and move the control surfaces.  The cables are not directly connected to the control surfaces, but when the pilot moves the yoke, the cables that are moved actually move the PCUs, which are out in the wings or tail directly connected to the control surfaces themselves.

As the control surfaces move, there are electronic signals passed on to other PCUs to actuate things like ground spoilers and flight spoilers or spoilerons as needed to assist in controllability.

    It is Brakes-by-wire though

And thanks to its FADEC it is power-by-wire as well.

  3. No airplane in the Bombardier current inventory has fly-by-wire. The first one is supposed to be the yet to be officially launched C-Series.
