  1. Evans has the best chance but it is likely between him and Valverde. I'd pick Valverde but not by much. That is, if he can avoid crashing out like he has done in the past.

Both riders are on super form right now, exactly where they should be leading to the start in two weeks.

Should either of those two stumble watch for these guys, Denis Menchov, Damiano Cunego, Carlos Sastre, and way down the list Steijn Devolder.

  2. Cadel Evans deffinately stands a chance in winning the tour. Although, there will be strong contenders again. Levi, Hincapie, and  Contador will all be racing

  3. Yes i think he has a reasonable chance of winning the tour. Mainly because of his result last year and the field this year. GO Cadel.

  4. Yes, I think that he has a good shot at winning. As you mention, Astana won't be there and so you can say goodbye to Kloden, Leipheimer and Contador. His time trialling looks to be solid, possibly not at the same level relative to the others as last year but definitely not a weak point. He was a lot more aggressive in the Dauphine this year than he usually is, and seemed to be ok with the mountains. He has a good team built around him also. When you consider that first and third from last year's tour are out, Cadel beat his closest challenger by around 7 minutes last year. If he can display that sort of form again, not many people would bet against him.

  5. Yes. He has shown to be very good at the hillclimbs, and is also a very good timetrialist. I have met him and he is awesome.
