  1. USC is still the team to beat.  Losing DeSean Jackson, Lavelle Hawkins and Justin Forsett definitely hurt the offense.  They still have a good defense particularly their Linebacker core, and their schedule outside of Pac 10 isn't as bad as last year (Michigan State, Maryland, and Colorado State.)  But they still have to contend with USC who are the Pac-10 powerhouse.  Oregon is still an elite team in the Pac-10, ASU whose gotten better under Erickson.
