Does Charlie know? (Twilight Series)?

Ok so.... I read Breaking Dawn but I still don't understand if Charlie knows about Bella being a vampire. I know he knows about Reneesme but I don't know about the vampire part.

  1. He knows...enough.  He doesn't want to know, but he definitely knows something is different about her.  I don't know if he could go so far as to guess vampire, but he knows it's something supernatural since Jacob showed Charlie he could change into a wolf.    


  2. I thought it was funny how Charlie reacted to Renesmee, the child was growing at about six times the normal rate and all he could say was that she looked thin. I felt that Charlie knew that something was different, but, that he chose to not acknowledge as a form of self-preservation (remember how Harry Clearwater had a heart attack after his kids started phasing---Charlie knew better). I also think that Sue Clearwater became a part of Charlie's life to help him to understand the mystical world of her shape shifting children, his vampire daughter and in-laws and his half vampire/human granddaughter. Sue obviously knew the truth about the Cullens and the Quilleute legends. She would be his witness to what he would eventually have to believe.

    Charlie knew that something was up with Bella, and although he has the rumours from Billy in Twilight about the Cullens being vamps in his mind somewhere, he refuses to think about what bella could be, and surpresses everything. HE doesnt want to think to much about it. He knows that its something mystical tho.  

  4. He knows something is up but to protect his safety, Bella and the rest of the Cullens opted to not tell him. He does however know about Jacob and the other werewolves.

  6. I've already finished it awhile ago and i have no clue. That part really confused me. I don't think that he knows they are vampires though becuase the Volturi would be mad that they told the secret.

  7. He srta does, like he nos sumthin fishy is going on and everything but he to every1s relief wants to no the least possible info so that good. and he and sue srt of hooked up so i think he shod just becum a quillette elder or sumthing so hes able to no everything legally  

  8. Charlie was told by Jacob  that the less he knew the better. No one actually explains it to him, but he isa smart guy and I am sure he can guess that something is alittle off with Bella. Kinda like a don't ask, don't tell policy!

  9. no he dosn't. He is really really stupid. He thinks Renesme is adopted from someone in Edward's family. He knows that Jacob is a werewolf now though

  11. No, I do not believe that Charlie knows. He knows that Jacob is a werewolf, as he's seen it with his own eyes, but it was his choice to not know what the Cullens, Bella, and Renesmee are. He would rather not know and be happy, than know and worry.

    he's not quite sure what she is, but he's not ready to find out

    Bella even smells Charlie and likes it. That part was GROSS.
