Yes, almost all do. to keep an eye on the employees from stealing money, food, liquor.  Also in case there is a lawsuit they have the tapes to defend themselves.  Or if someone charges them with underage drinking.  Almost all restuarants, even small ones have security cameras. It helps reduce insurance and helps cut down on theft, etc. and increases employee productivity,because they are always being watched.
