Be very careful - I have seen many of these posts and they turn out to be scams.  Hotels are not able to employ non-EU passport holders nowadays unless it is a specialist role which cannot be fulfilled by a worker within the EU

It may be a real hotel but this is a typical tactic from a scammer. A real manager of a hotel would want to see you for a face-to-face or at least a video conference interview to see if you are presentable for any customer facing job.  Has this taken place?

Did you even apply for the job or did they contact you?  If so didn't you find it strange?

Have they asked you for any money to be sent for "visa costs/fees etc".  Any company who is genuinely interested is employing a foreign worker (non EU) would NEVER request you to pay Visa fees - (this is a typical scam). Let me guess - they asked you to send it to them via MOneygram or Western Union right?

I would say "Scam, and run, don't give them any more personal info and DON"T give them any money (they will just continue asking for more for various different 'fees'.

If you want to make sure then it is easy. Look up in the British yellow pages to find the hotel, call the HR department and double check the person's name and vacany, and what their policy is for recruitment. If it is genuine they will not mind you checking. If it is a fraud (which I think it is) then you will save yourself a lot of money
