No, it is not a cure all, nor does it cure stupidity.  However a high quality wild fish oil is a great source of omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin A and D.

Cod Liver Oil is very high in Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Omega 3 Fatty Acids.  It has been clinically proven to help with stiffness of arthritis, and does have a positive effect on your heart, bones and brain.  Will it make you smart?  Probably not.

It is surprising what cod liver oil can do.  I wouldn't be surprised if it would increase your IQ.  And it's cheap, too!
