I know he's in a little slump, but this guy is still one of the most talented players in all of baseball.

He just needs to work on his game. I say he goes Willie Mays from here on out.

  1. lmao all pattersons are busts!

  2. This is not a serious question. Patterson's career-long slump and underachievement is not likely to turn around. The Baseball Hall of Fame is way too strict to let a marginal player like Patterson in.

  3. This is a joke, isn't it?

  4. Not with his average. He's 28 years old and has played 8 years pro and has 100 home runs and a sub .300 average, probably not.

  5. psh. you wish.

(and he still wouldn't make it)

  6. ahahahahaha - thanks, I needed a good laugh today.

  7. Ya, he will be followed by other Cub flameouts Mark Prior and Kerry Wood to create the trifecta. All 3 of these will be first ballot Hall of Famers and will laugh at everyone who gave up on them.

  8. A little 10 year slump?

I think he has been working on his game long enough.

He will never make the HOF.  No plate discipline.

  9. He still has plenty of time to turn it around.  I think he's a future all star, but he'll probably fall short of the hall of fame.

  10. He's never going to be a superstar. He had one good year in 2003, then he got injured.

  11. If he would have been a HOF.

He at least would have showed glimpses of Mays.

    Jack

  12. if he did go willie mays for the rest of his career, he woodnt make it
