Even if he gets the chance to try out his luck!, what are his chances against the undisputed heavy weight champion of the world?

  1. He has a realistic chance of beating Klitscho as long as he doesent rush into challenging him. I actually rate Wladimir Klitscho higher that many people on this site do, i think he has good skills and is good at what he does. But Haye has speed something that no other current heavyweight fighter really has. Also i think Hayes chin isnt as bad as many people think. He was knocked out by Carl Thompson early on in his career but it was a fight too soon for Haye. Thompson was very experienced an ex WBO champ and a guy who had pretty good skills and a very decent punch. Haye was basically knocked out by a veteran fighter who is known for being a knockout artist, his chin shouldent really be doubted so much. Give Haye a year or two to grow into the weight and then i fancy his chances against any of the current world heavyweight champions.

  2. He would have a 'puncher's chance'.  That would be about it.  Heavy hands at cruiserweight do not always mean heavy hands at heavyweight.

The curse of Wlad is that he corrected the weakness exposed by Brewster.  He is bigger than most of the guys he fights and he uses the old school boxing stance to keep his opponents at bay, and not many folks can get inside now.

I think realistically, Wlad puts him out, but Haye stands a better chance than anyone else in the division, except possibly Peter.  I think Haye's chin is weaker than Wlad's and Wlad will drop a bomb to put him out.

  3. to all the anti Klitchco mob Haye wouldnt stand a chance. What is it with americans re Klitchco?is it cos he's Russian and is a credible and in my opinion worhty champ, take a look at the pie munching  Peters,he's a discrace,Dr Klitchco is a credit to his sport and country!Great athlete, boxer and paragon of the community he lives in,get off his back!

  4. Considering the fragile, almost brittle chin that Cory Sanders and Lamont Brewster exposed, I would say anyone, especially a guy like Haye would have a realistic chance against Klitschko.

  5. I like his hand speed.  I hate his footwork, defense and head movement.  If you're going to be a little man in the heavies, you better have Evander Holyfield's chin or some really strong defence.  As of right now, Haye is an imcomplete fighter.  VK, or WK should have no problem finding DH's chin.

  6. if haye comes in looking for a decision, he loses.

if haye comes in looking for the knockout, he gets it.

klit is too cautios for his own good, and haye would catch him.  too many people think haye is too small, but remember that haye struggled his *** off to make cruiser and still had massive power.  he will most likely fight around 230 at heavy, and as long as he still trains properly, his power will carry and then some.

haye is a bit flawed, but nothing about klitschko is particularly dominant besides his size.  his jab is laughable, and his power is embarassing for a man his size.  his chin is terrible, corrie freaking sanders knocked him the F out.

Haye may be flawed but at least he's multi-dimensional.  with the division in the state it is right now i gotta think haye could walk in and unify in 2 years.

a british news site reports that haye is looking for klitschko for his 2nd or 3rd fight, giving him plenty of time to prepare for the big man, probably landing a belt along the way.

Haye KO 2 over cautious Klit

  7. I'm going out on a limb here but I think we're going to see Haye clear the paper tigers out of the heavyweight division and be the next undisputed champ.
