  1. As Joe Torre so aptly put it and I quote him "David Wells is a cartoon".

  2. http://www.prizerebel.com/index.php?r=42...

  3. The only thing that really sticks out is that perfect game in 98. Since that time, he hasn't pitched very well, and despite his past success probably won't make it in the Hall. If I were voting, I'd say no.

  4. with those accomplishments definetly  but his stats arent that good . im going to say yes becuse he has about 235 wins.

  5. Not even close, he was good a few years but average most years.  He is in the Hall of alright but not the Hall of Fame.

  6. NO. That would be a huge joke.

  7. NO

  8. He was a upper echelon player but not HOF material.

  9. NO.

  10. NO.

  11. He was a great player but he won't make it into the HOF. He was a solid player, nothing more.

  12. No. And, honestly, the provided list of highlights supports this position. A perfect game is a very rare and nice thing, but that's one game out of a career.

Wells had no great seasons -- well, maybe two if we squint just right. He was a plus asset to his teams, but never Hall-class.

  13. No thats not even close too being good enough

  14. No way he deserves the HOF & if that is the case, what about Jason Varitek, he is an all star, 2 time WS champion & caught 4 no-hitters & this isn't meant to sound negative against Varitek, who I happen to like but just making a stat like comparison.  I like both players, but neither one is a HOFer

  15. No. 300 wins required.

His career ERA is too high anyway.

HOF based on his stats, not only on his achievement.
