Does Death Note still play on tv?

yes it still plays but i dont beleive they are new episodes

It probably still plays somewhere, but its not currently on adult swim anymore.  If you really want to watch the english dubbed episodes just look them up online.  Try veoh.com or just search for death note english dub.

Unfortunately, no.  There are no channels in the US currently airing Death Note.  = (

Adult Swim started to run it for the second time, but stopped at episode 5 ("Tactics").  

They are not showing any signs of putting it back in the animé lineup (they put a new animé in the time slot), but AS is notoriously unpredictable, and who knows they may show it again.  They resurrected Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop for a while!

I highly reccommend viewing the episodes online, at your leisure.  They're pretty easy to find nowadays and it's less work than trying to keep up with AS.  I wish you luck!
