She always seems to be talking about Puerto Rico in her Youtube videos and I was just curious. =)

it seems her father's background had to do with Mexico.

then again, the famous singer Luis Miguel which is very proud to be Mexican, was actually born in Puerto Rico, but he feels his heart its from Mexico (since his parents are Mexicans and he was also raised in Mexico). maybe the opposite happened to demi. The actor joan phoenix, is a very proud American, even thought he was born in Puerto Rico, his parents are Americans and Joan was raised in America all his entire life.
