Does Diet Coke make you put weight on at all?

I was looking at the ingredients of a Diet Coke and there arn't any calories and there's no fat. Does it make you put weight on at all because i was starving, had one and it filled me up for ages.

  1. The diet coke itself won't make you put on weight, but it tricks your brain into thinking you are having sugar, so it pumps out the digestive chemicals, but then it finds nothing but fake sugar.  So, you end up getting cravings for real sugar to satisfy the mixed signals from your brain....which results in you eating more later on and packing on extra calories that you otherwise wouldn't have eaten.  Check out this website, it explains it much better than I can!


  2. People say the sodium and aspartame with kill you but personally I don't believe that. Diet Coke is essentially bubbly water, flavor, caffeine and aspartame. The worst thing in there is caffeine, and a coke contains less caffeine than a cup of coffee.

  3. NO, but it's not good  for your health, it high it sodium and not real sugar. it not good to starve yourself, your metabolism will slow down then your body storing fat.
