Does DirecTV go out a lot in NE Ohio?

I live in NE Ohio and am thinking about switching from cable to direcTV. They are cheaper, offer more channels, and I can have a DVR in every room of my house without an additional monthly charge. I just would like to know if the service cuts out a lot in my area before I change over.

  1. Assuming your dish is installed correctly and you have decent signal strength it should only go out when it rains EXTREMELY hard and only for a minute or 2.
