Does Dish Network work with Verizon high speed internet (through a cable)?

If not then what's the best way to get both high speed internet and Satellite/cable?

No, dish network boxes only work when connected to a dish that's been installed. You can have dish network come out and do an install. They can use the same cables in your house or run new ones. For verizon fios or dsl, it should be seperate and run off  cat5. Verizon Fios TV runs off coax from their box outside, but that can be disconnected and used for whatever you want.
