Does Division II College Softball Make Cuts?

Question

I'm going to college this fall, and planning on playing softball. Does Division II make cuts? I wasn't offered a scholarship or anything but i e-mailed the coach and said i was interested in playing, but still am not sure if i would make the team or if cuts are done.

depending on how many players are interested in playing, there probably will be cuts..division 2 teams colleges don't have as much money as division 1 programs do, so they may have to carry fewer players..if u are interested in playing, and are cut, there are many inter-mural teams, so you could probably join one of them
