Does Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, California have Blue courses?

I am a beginning skier and tmrw will be my first time going to a ski place to ski. i am going to dodge ridge in northern california (near sacremento i believe). i have been informed that green courses are the easiest and blue the medium, red the difficult, black diamond the hard, and double black diamond the expert. is blue and green courses different? and how so?

  1. yea, they have blue squares, i just went there last friday. green circles are the easiest, a good slope thats a green circle is on lift 6 (all the way at the left side of the main lodge.) its really easy especially if you've snowboarded in the past. their blue squares are mostly at the top of chair 3 which is the big ski lift that goes up the mountain, they arent too hard either. i've never heard of red slopes, but they have a couple black diamonds and very few double black diamonds that i havent gone on yet
