Does EB games scam???

Question

Yesterday I went to an EB games store, and asked for Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 for the ps2, and I told them I wanted a new one, not a used one. They said they had one left that was new, so they went to get it, and I saw the box was open, but it had the instruction manual in it and the box was clean. I told them to leave it to the side for now and I'd come back within the week...Now...how can I know if it's used or not?

Many game stores have there boxes open before they actually sell them but they are still new.

Like game station in the united kingdom all there boxes are open but they are completely new many stores do this i.e because its playstation 2 and they might want to use the seal on newer games. for different platforms but it is new anyway

ask them why it's open, maybe its refurbished

also go when someone else is their and check what they say

now if you ask them for a new game in the box was open in the seal was not on it they lied to you about it being new in they are trying to sale it to you bran new at there price in not the used price they are trying to pull a fast one over you just go to gamestop they will never ever sale you a new game if it has ever been used they will sale you all ways a new game in never ever try to rip you off  :)ava06
