Question

becase im 14 and i just graduated from 8th grade. i went to a party with girls the same age as me. it was a birthday party and the birthday girl stole her parents henassi from the fridge and most people started drinking it. and i was one of the people on side sitting down like wtf and we didnt do anything. then there were only like 3 people dancing. the girls were all grinding on each other. and then they started grinding on all of the guys and it was like reeeeal freaking.

idk i'm not a loser or anything. i'm just really innocent lol and i dont do stuff like that. i just thought the drinking was retarded because we're only in 8th grade and there were like 15 people there in all.

ANYWAY, is it just normal to freak dance now? like do even the innocent girls grind on guys at parties?

I find it quite hilarious how some of the individuals above said that you must be a loser because you didn&#039;t drink, if anything- you were just being responsible which I think is a great trait to have. Just because someone is responsible- it doesn&#039;t mean that they are a loser and can&#039;t have fun because they can. In my opinion, when you&#039;re in 8th grade you shouldn&#039;t be drinking- the legal drinking age is in place for a reason! I would say, yes... it is normal to freak dance or grind as practically everyone does when at school dances and such. Though, I wouldn&#039;t necessarily say it&#039;s appropriate. Many get out of hand while dancing this way. If they want to do that in private, go right ahead but if I was standing two feet away... I&#039;d personally prefer not to see two people dry humping each other in a crowded school dance. Don&#039;t get me wrong, grinding alright sometimes BUT some people do get carried away.

In middle school we only every had 1 dance and that was the end of my 8th grade year and then nobody every freak danced...

In high school the administration had the right to kick you out if you were freak dancing (and trust me... they usually threw 1/2 the senior class out by the end of the dance)

I&#039;m in college now and I go clubbing and its generally considered the norm...but we&#039;re all adults and so its not considered nearly as inappropriate as it use to be... though I would never dance like that in front of my family. lol... its more of a going-out type thing.

Freak dancing is very common these days. But it is not something that is being easily accepted... a number of schools are outlawing it and rightfully so. It is something that should be kept for older couples if anyone at all!

Grinding is something that you will see often at parties nowadays but if your not comfortable doing it, then don&#039;t.

In my opinion grinding isn&#039;t really a big deal.

Some girls dance like that and they turn out to be really S****y and other girls dance like that and we&#039;ll stay virgins till they&#039;re married. It&#039;s just a form of dancing. But like I said don&#039;t feel pressured into doing it. I guess it all depends on the person and their opinions.

NO!! you do not have to freak dance....but on the flip side to that you probably wont be going to very many parties it seems like thats what they are all about these days who can grind the hardest....now I am not saying that I am an innocent girl I have done my share of crazy things but that is not one of them I dont see the point in me rubbing and grinding my butt on some ramdom guys d**k for 3 to 5 mons. depending on how long the sont is and possibly getting him at attention and them him expecting more from me it&#039;s completely not worth it there are many  other ways to have fun and there are alot of other ppl who also choose not to attend those kinds of parties so you will not be alone dont lower your standards or do something you dont want to do that will affect your character just to fit it.....Truth be told some guys think less of the girls who do dance that way they will dance with them but at the end of the night they want a girl with a little more class no to offen anyone who does dance like that. but just be yourself and do what you want to do becuase you want to do it not becuase it&#039;s what everyone else is doing.

I started freak dancing to a Shakira song, because that was the actual dance, and I got yelled at...

i dont do that basically becasue its not my style and i think 14 year old girls should not be doing that.

its just plain out sluty in my opinion.

but, at the school dances, girls do that with guys and i puke in my mouth a little.
