  1. Everything in the universe has an influence on everything else in the universe.


  2. All mass has gravity, but the size of the mass determines the amount. Earth's effect on other planets in our solar system would be negligible but it would still be there.

  3. Gravity works both ways - we pull on them and they pull on us.  But they're so far away you wouldn't notice.  So I'm not sure what influence you think the other planets have on us.

  4. The planets have at least one kind of influence on us -- they cause interest! We look at them, aim telescopes and space probes on them, teach our kids about them, ask questions about them on Yahoo Answers ...

    As far as gravitational influence, no, they're far enough away that the force exerted is very small.
