Question:

Does Easy Wi-Fi Radar show the actual location of the wifi network so that you can move closer to it?

Im talking about this application: http://easy-wifi-radar.en.softonic.com/

I dont have a laptop yet, but im getting one soon and i want to know if this program will actually show you the location of the networ, and if you turn away from it will it show it on the other side of the radar dot?

  1. WiFi Radar is not really radar so no it won't show you where the connection is located. It only knows open networks, wep networks, and wpa networks.  I have never found any need at all for one, just simply clicking view available networks does what you need and gives you more control.

    Connecting to just ANY open network is dangerous!  You have no idea whose network it may be, it can be an ID theft ring just waiting for you to connect so they can steal your information!   In the US, Canada, UK and other countries connecting to a network which you are not invited is ILLEGAL as well.  SO WHY GET IT!  It just helps get you into trouble or put your computer and information at risk.  (You don't have to take my word for it, just do a search for Wifi Theft Laws, and Wifi ID Theft!)
