  1. well ive never met any english person who hated ireland, but perhaps you should ask this question in the english section.

  2. No. Most English people I know like Ireland and like coming over here. Occasionally you come across English who don't realise that not all Irish are terrorists, but they were few and far between.

  3. ireland hates england for taking away their freedom

  4. people living in England are very individual ... and so are people living in Ireland ... what individuals might think of individuals of the other country covers a massive range of emotions ... complicated of course by the fact there are many people living in Ireland who are of English descent, and plenty more people living in England who are of Irish descent

so your question becomes simplistic in the extreme and is not worth debating

  5. No entire country hates another. There may be mass resentment in the population however. I think that would just be true for older people though.

  6. No. I find English people know think very little or nothing about Ireland besides fond holiday memories in the West or Dublin stag parties.. Maybe this is because Ireland is so much smaller and features little in day-to-day life there (compared to in Ireland where many people watch English TV, read UK newspapers, have an idea of UK politics etc.).  Given the high prices in Ireland, dodgy health service etc, perhaps if they spent more time here they would hate it.
