  1. yes

  2. They operate only when they feel like it in the USA; they may not take the initiative to travel--so I would say no.

  3. The FBI is the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As you know, the Armed forces are apart of the federal government and that is where they receive their funding. When something happens over seas, or there is an investigation that needs to happen, they send the federal branch that can implement it and has the authority to do so. Some people think that the FBI just polices America, but they are the investigative arm for the whole federal government.

When attacks on embassy's happen, the FBI investigates because embassies or considered American soil. The FBI also has to follow paper trails of white collar crimes like embezzlement or insider trading that takes them overseas. In conclusion, they don't police other countries, but they do investigate incidents that affect America.

  4. You bet -- all sorts of dirty deeds are done in the name of peace.

  5. No they don't work directly outside the USA or police other parts of the world. The FBI and many other similar police organisations in foreign countries all work together in a international police organisation called - " Interpol " since laws around the world differ from country to country.

  6. Do you know what the letters F. B. I. stand for?  Which one of those letters imply "Police" ?
