Does Favre really want to play...

... or does he just not want to be remembered for his last pass in the NFL to be an interception that lost an NFC Championship game?

If his last pass was anything but that, i'm sure he'd be fine retiring.

Nobody knows. I guess we'll see in the end. I believe that he's had an amazing career and getting paid 20 million dollars for the next 10 years to stay retired is an amazing offer.  I also think that he should stay retired rather than play for someone other than the packers.

It is sad and hard to think about.  ESPECIALLY for an amazingly huge packer fan.....

I doubt he really gives a d**n what his last pass did.  Just watch how he acts even while he's playing; he just wants to get back on the field again and throw a touchdown.  That's how he plays, that's how he thinks.

Yes, but only for the Vikings. Saying he wants to play for the Packers is a smokescreen. He's been lying to Packer fans and is going to get away with it. If he wants to play so bad, then why doesn't he go play for the Jets or Bucs?

His first regular season pass was an interception returned for a touchdown, coming back won't change that.

I think he still has the drive to play.  I mean, he's been doing it his whole life and he probably doesn't know what to do with himself.  Personally, I think he should just take the marketing deal, make the money, and retire healthy.

I think he will always want to play, without question.  Why he is ruining his legacy with the current situation is beyond me.  Hopefully he'll pull his head out of his *** and enjoy the fat retirement they are giving him to grow old.

I personally think it is all a publicity stunt.. Just read that he will be laughing all the way to the bank if he doesn't play.. They are willing to pay him not to come out ot retirement
