Hi Everyone.

I recently ordered a laptop with the Free 5-7 Day Shipping. They finished it and sent it to fedex on Friday, so I thought it would stay there for the weekend.

Since Friday, it has shipped from China, To Alaska, and now to Minneapolis. I do live about 30 minutes outside Minneapolis, but the estimated arrival says:

If it's in Minneapolis right now, whats the chance it will be delivered before that?

  1. You can call the customer service department and ask for a HAL service (hold at location) then you can pick it up if you wish.

FedEx is strict with delivery times. It has to to perfectly time the delivery of 7 milllion packages per day.

  2. Not likely. If the time states April 30th. They usually stay true to date. It's mostly because of scheduling w/ the other offices and transfer times. I would adivse to call the 800 customer service line, and ask them to hold it @ the location it's currenlty at. Good luck!

  3. they are working, and moving packages around on the weekend, but I do not believe that they have full staff over the weekends, and do not believe that they deliver over the weekends...

the 5-7 day shipping you ordered with is really 5-7 business days (

    monday thru friday)

the item from china was probably directed just to be sent to the US and be sorted, thats why it went to alaska, it then was sorted, and either sent to the fed-ex office that handles your address, or the regional fed-ex sorting facility, where it will then be sent to your local fed-ex office.

the 30th is Wednesday, being it is so close to you, it may reach you a day early, but I doubt you will be seeing it on monday..
